Do you love native plants? How about unique and unusual flowers? Liatris spicata 'Kobold' checks all the boxes. Known as the Dense Blazing Star plant, Liatris spicata is native to moist prairies and meadows. 'Kobold' is a slightly more compact variety.
'Kobold' is both heat and drought-tolerant, and pollinators love 'em. It's even great in cut flower gardens, adding otherworldly flowers to arrangements.
- LIGHT: Full sun; partial sun
- WATER: Water deeply and thoroughly when the top couple inches of soil dries.
- SIZE: 18-24" tall by 18-24" wide
- ZONE: Native Ohio winter-hardy perennial; winter-hardy in zones 3-9
